Basic pricing

Minimum painting project accepted: $450

The chart below illustrates how much you would pay for the labor in a room (bathroom, bedroom, living room, etc.) of the standard height ( 8 ft tall ).  It includes applying up to two coats of paint on the walls ( ceilings, if requested, are paid additionally – see details below ). Fixing holes and other damages, if requested, paid additionally.  To see approximately what the cost of labor for painting would be, measure your room and check the corresponding pricing. The pricing increases gradually depending on the length and the width of the room.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR ROOM

This room’s measure is 14 ft by 10 ft thus according to the basic pricing chart it would cost $230 to have the room painted.  Ceilings, if also painted, are charged separately.

Additional painting fees:

 Ceilings – applying one coat – start at $135 + paint

Each additional coat on the walls – paid additionally

Each additional coat on the ceiling - paid additionally

Wall / ceiling heights is over 8ft – each additional foot increases the estimate by 15%

More than 1 color on the walls of a room ( accent wall, etc. ) – additional $50 per each additional color/accent in a single room

Trims – each coat is $1.35 per linear foot per coat + paint

Doors – plain $35 or $50 per side ( 1 or 2 coats ) + paint

Doors – unplain $40 or $60 per side ( 1 or 2 coats ) + paint

Doors – plain -  2 sides -  $55 per coat + paint

Doors – unplain -  2 sides -  $65 per coat + paint

Closets – applying one coat  -  starting at $150  for small closets

Foyers /  hallways – varies, need to be evaluated in person.

Patching / caulking / drywall repairs – varies, need to be evaluated in person

Moving furniture ( if the customers are not willing to do it by themselves  )$50-$75 per room 

The customer is responsible for buying the materials -  paint, tapes, caulk, roller covers, etc. . Each additional coat beyond two coats will be charged additionally.

Please have the room ready for painting - clear all the walls of any paintings and other belongings, move the furniture out of the room or at least place it in the middle of the room. Moving furniture service is available, and if requested usually $50-$75 per room is charged additionally depending on the quantity and the size of the furniture.

The rooms should be dusted and clean before painting.
